Such a Special Girl

 

Snoopy was purchased from the Wager kennels to bring in another registered hunting female, and that she did at a really early age. She was going off on her own from the house bringing back goose decoys heads from the neighbors place over half a mile away down past the creek bottom. One night when she was between 6 & 7 months of age, she took off again and when she came back Snoopy was dragging her front leg it was cut up prett bad in the front of her leg and poked in her chest too. The tell tale signs of a boar hog. Mike took her to the local Vet. to put her back together but she ended up with a nasty bacterial infection. We moved her into these kennels and took up religious antibiotics and cleaning wounds, finally got her leg healed back after a little over a month. Then Snoopy had some rehab to do, and then back onto the hogs! She is much looser baying now days, but she does hate hogs.
